FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Every business has a common group of customer service and website usage questions asked by visitors. Our FAQ page attempts to answer all of those at-a-glance. This feature will cover the most frequently asked questions NOT related to investing (the Member Q&A feature is for that).

Browser Software Updates

One of the simplest and best things anyone can do is make sure their Internet browser of choice is up to date. While we’ve made good efforts to make everything on our site work with browsers several generations old, newer technology strengthens compatibility and will generally yield a better, faster experience overall. If you haven’t updated your computer or smart mobile device to the latest version of your browser, take a moment right now to do so. Not only will that make BullAndBearProfits.com work as well as it can, but all of your other Internet browsing will likely be better & faster too.

New To Investing? Enjoy our FREE Investor Course

If you feel you are towards the novice-to-moderately-experienced level of investing -- or even if you are yet to buy or sell a stock or ETF -- one fantastic resource that can be a solid starting point is our FREE ETF & Stock Basics educational course. Consider it a FREE starter primer that covers the basics of investing for anyone hungry to learn how to grow their wealth.

IF YOU ARE A REGULAR FOLLOWER OR MEMBER

THANK YOU for your patronage. We strive every single day -- even weekends & holidays -- to deliver well beyond your expectations!

Unlock Most of the Features of This Site

About 94% of the features & benefits of this site are completely FREE…but a chunk of them require a log-in for access. You can get your own FREE user name & password in just seconds by registering. It’s easy. It’s fast. And it will significantly upgrade your experience with BullAndBearProfits.com.

TOP FIVE MOST POPULAR WEBSITE FEATURESour

Most followers want to tap our expertise for specific stock & ETF recommendations and “learn as you earn” education. Our newsletter service offers the very best way we can help you grow your wealth and learn as you do. It provides approx 4-10 actionable stock & ETF recommendations each month with exclusive educational features designed to sharpen your trading sword.

Investing Insights in the Education menu is our most popular FREE feature. Every week (sometimes more frequently), we post our views of the markets & exclusive research you won’t find anywhere else, along with anything else we think our followers will appreciate.
Member Q&A is a user-driven question & answer feature for educational purposes. Investors just like you send us questions. We select those likely to be of interest to our followers as a group, develop highly-informative answers and post them to the site.
Bull & Bear Webinars are narrated video streams in which one of our experts covers engaging topics in a “show & tell” way…much like attending a live seminar without all the costs of travel & lodging…and perfectly fitting your own schedule. Watch & learn how to prosper in the markets.
Special Reports are educational and sometimes actionable information in book or booklet form (typically Adobe PDF) that you can download and review on your computer, tablet or smart phone...online or off. These go in-depth, offering some of our very best education.

Forgot User Name and/or Password?

Already have a user name & password but can’t quite remember them? We’ve all been there on sombody's website. Below the green button on the login page, see a bulleted option that begins with "don't recall your password?" Click the subsequent link to begin a quick & easy process to reset your password. We employ "best practices" security so we don't even have access to your password ourselves. This self-help option is THE best and FASTEST way to resolve this scenario.

While it is fresh in your mind...

WRITE DOWN YOUR USER NAME & PASSWORD

...so you can refer back to them when trying to login in the future. Both are CASE SENSITIVE, meaning a capital letter is not the same as a small letter, even if both are the same letter. So be sure you write it down EXACTLY as you entered it: uppercase, lowercase, numbers, etc.

If you try that and still can't login, please Contact Us for some human help. We will respond ASAP within -- at most -- ONE business day. Our general process is to simply:

  1. re-register you ourselves,
  2. login to verify that the combination of user name & password definitely works and
  3. send them to you in an email.
  4. You can then copy & paste them into the login page fields and click the green button to login.

If you are using your OWN computing device (not a publicly-accessible computer), there are 1-2 more things you can do to simplify logging in going forward:

  • Once you ARE successfully logging in, we encourage you to check the "AUTOMATIC LOG-IN/LOG-OUT" option on the login page
  • Most modern website browsers ALSO offer a "remember user name & password" feature. However, if you first store an incorrect user name and/or password in that feature and then use one of the above options to reset or change it, it is important to correct browser (remembered) login info. After you reset your password, type in the new one by hand. Since it will be different than what the browser thinks you want to enter (the old one), you should be presented with an option like "update password for this website" or similar. See an example of how this looks in one browser at right.

Approving the change -- clicking the "Update Password" button in the example -- should update the browser-stored user name & password so that it will subsequently be storing and USING the CORRECT information. After this update, that feature should work as expected. If not, repeat the process of manually (you) typing in your correct user name & password, approving the browser updating it for this website and then it should work in subsequent visits when you use it to login.

White Listing

Some of our interactions with our members are via email -- especially timely notices like new recommendations, new special reports, new webinars and so on. Naturally, it’s important for you to be able to receive such email so you can take advantage of new Bull And Bear insights "hot off the E-presses".

Many email service providers offer a feature called “white listing.” White listing is basically you pre-approving email from a specific sender. Technically, when you add a site or email address to your white list, you are asking your email provider to NOT filter it as spam. Instead, it will bypass spam filtering software and flow right to your inbox.

If your email service provider offers a white listing feature -- and it is more likely it does than not -- be sure to add email from BullAndBearProfits.com to the white list. Every email service provider will have their own way of doing this, but a common way is to use what is called a “wildcard” entry in front of the part of an email address before the @ symbol. A wildcard symbol is often an asterisk (*) symbol but the specific character can vary by provider. If your own provider offers a wildcard symbol option, the format is probably:

<wildcard>@BullAndBearProfits.com

For example, if your provider used the asterisk symbol (*) as a wildcard, you would whitelist us by entering:

*@BullAndBearProfits.com

...in your email service's white list feature. Again, not all email service providers offer whitelisting (but most do). And if they offer a wildcard option, their symbol may be something other than asterisk (with some, it's a simple matter of entering the part after the "@" symbol which, in our case, is obviously BullAndBearProfits.com). Read your own email service provider's "how to whitelist" documentation to learn how to whitelist us with your specific provider.

It’s also a good idea to add us to your computer or mobile device address book too. That can also help your computer or mobile device’s email software know that you want to receive email from BullAndBearProfits.com.

IF YOU ARE ALREADY A BULL AND BEAR SUBSCRIBER

THANK YOU! Your subscription dollars directly fuel our ability to do everything we do. We work very hard to NEVER let you down.

Along with everything above, there are special help features exclusively for subscribers...

New Subscriber Guide
One of the very best sources of help for subscribers is the exclusive New Subscriber Guide- THE comprehensive, “how-to-use” handbook that attempts to cover EVERYTHING related to making the most of your subscription. If you have not yet downloaded the NSG, be sure to do that right now.

And note: The NSG is a living document, meaning that like software manuals, it evolves in version updates… often driven by new subscribers asking questions that may not be covered in the existing version. In living document handbooks, the goal is to evolve it to perfection. So if you’ve been a subscriber for a while, chances are good that a newer version awaits you. Be sure to regularly check and download the latest version to stay up-to-date on all of the latest & greatest features & benefits.

Subscriber Q&A (Question & Answer)
The site offers a FAQ and a Member Q&A referenced above. There’s also a Subscriber Q&A where questions & answers that should only be seen by subscribers are asked & answered. These are typically questions about our newsletter service recommendations, open positions and/or exclusive educational content provided to only members of that service.

What Positions Are Open? What Has Closed Most Recently? New Recommendations?
Subscribers have at-a-glance access to both a Currently Open Positions table and a Recently Closed Positions table. The former is sorted by most recently opened (positions) first and the latter is sorted by most recently closed (positions) first. In only a quick glance, anyone wondering about any recent actions can see answers. Bonus: the Currently Open Positions dynamically updates with fairly recent position prices, meaning you can check it upwards of many times each day to watch the ebb & flow of position prices & profitability.

All new recommendations and new issues of the newsletter appear in most-recent-issue-FIRST order on the Recommendations page. Subscribers are emailed whenever there is any new recommended actions, so be sure to take advantage of the white listing information shared above if your email provider has such a feature.

Questions about OPEN newsletter service trades?

There are 3 places where educational insights about open trades can be found right now:

  1. Rationale: Each trade comes with the key reasons we believe each offers good opportunity. These are published right on the recommendation alert PDF accessible in the recommendation menu.
  2. More Rationale: Occasionally, we have additional insights to share about open trades while they are open. If so, we add those comments to dedicated rationale pages, accessible in a (most recently updated) date-stamped link in the far right column of the Currently Open Positions table. If we have anything new to say about open trades, it will generally be inserted there and the date in that column updated to make it easy to know there is something new on those pages.
  3. Subscriber Q&A: Much like the Member Q&A page in the Education menu, subscribers can ask questions and our team will typically develop high-quality answers to those questions and post them in this subscriber's-only feature.

For any questions about new or open trades, be sure to check those features. Someone else may have already asked the same question.
